Collection: Evisu

Evisu was founded by Hidehiko Yamane in Osaka, Japan, in 1991. The name "Evisu" is derived from the Japanese Buddhist god of prosperity, Ebisu, often associated with good fortune and money. Yamane's vision was to create a brand that combined Japanese craftsmanship and heritage with a unique and distinctive fashion statement.. During the late 1990s and early 2000s, Evisu became a prominent player in the fashion industry, particularly within the streetwear scene. Its distinct designs, attention to detail, and emphasis on quality attracted a dedicated following. The brand is renowned for its emphasis on craftsmanship and quality. The  jeans are often made from Japanese selvedge denim, which is woven on old-fashioned shuttle looms to create a durable and high-quality fabric. Each pair of Evisu jeans is traditionally crafted, resulting in unique and individualised wear patterns over time.
